As with all Caldene leatherwork, the bridle is made from high quality vegetable-tanned leather. This leather is eco-friendly in contrast to chemically-tanned leathers. The process uses no hazardous or toxic chemicals and creates only recyclable waste.
The result is a beautiful finish and soft, subtle feel. The leather will absorb oils much faster than traditional chrome tanned bridlework.
