The Stubbs Round Salt Lick Holder is ideal to use with 5kg salt licks, to keep them securely in one place, without the problems of wastage when using the lick with a rope. Often with a rope-hung lick, the horse will lick one side more than the others, which results in half of the lick ultimately falling off the rope into the bedding, creating wastage with a lick that is not fully consumed.
Using the Stubbs salt lick holder instead means that the lick stays in one place, and can be rotated (either automatically if it is round, or manually if it is square and too large to do so on its own), so that it is consumed more evenly and does not fall into the bedding.
Ideal for use with either the Himalayan lick up to 5kg or the Rockies range of 5kg licks.
