Quick Clip for Tying Up Safely

There has always been a safety rule around stables never to tie a horse directly to an object that won't break under pressure (eg a tie-up ring). Back in the day, the go-to was to use baling twine to tie the horse's lead rope to. However, baling twine is not reliable! Sometimes it doesn't break, even with half a tonne of horse pulling on it in a panic.

That's why we always recommend using a safety tie when tying up your horse. The Quick Clip is an ingenious quick release tether that gives you and your horse that extra level of safety.

Simply thread the opened Quick Clip through a tying-up ring or wherever you're intending to tie your horse to, and clip the end through the clip to close it. Then tie your horse's rope through the Quick Clip instead of the tying-up ring.

The Quick Clip is elasticated, so that if your horse does pull back, the "give" in the elastic will create less pressure on your horse's sensitive poll, reducing risk of long-term damage.

The Quick Clip will come undone in a panic scenario, for safety. Or you can quickly unclip it yourself.
