Acavallo Mullen Pelham Sensitive Bit is a one-piece pelham bit with a ported mouthpiece for even pressure across the tongue and direct signals from the fixed cheekpieces.
Acavallo bits are a little different from other bits, and are popular with horses for a wide variety of reasons:
- They are made of an innovative, anti-allergic plastic material that is lightweight and warmer than most metal bits
- Due to their integrated, flexible steel cable reinforcement, these bits allow a soft, yet very secure control of the horse.
- The one-piece design of mouthpiece and rings prevents a one-sided squeezing or pinching of the tongue, as well as painful irritations of the palate.
