Use Lincoln Muddy Buddy Ointment as a protective barrier, to help prevent bacterial infections that can lead to conditions such as Mud Fever.
Lincoln Muddy Buddy Ointment is an antibacterial waterproof barrier cream, that supports the skin on the horse's lower legs, protecting and waterproofing it in muddy and wet conditions.
Muddy Buddy Ointment soothes and protects the skin, allowing horses to be turned out, even in severe wet and muddy conditions. It provides protection in long, dewy grass when the skin can become softened and therefore vulnerable to problems such as bacterial infections.
Muddy Buddy Ointment is formulated to be used as a preventative measure before problems occur.
Contains sulphur.
Directions for use:
- Apply liberally to clean dry skin on the heels and lower legs prior to turnout
- Repeat application as necessary
- NB: if scabs are already present, we recommend using Lincoln's Muddy Buddy Magic Kure Powder or Cream to treat them first.
Precautions:
- For topical use on horses only
- Avoid contact with the eyes
- Keep out of reach of children
- Sulphur content can tarnish silver jewellery
