Sprenger's WH Ultra is a loose ring snaffle bit, based on the popular KK Ultra. The central lozenge is angled forwards by 45 degrees, so as to ensure that it lies in the optimum position when the rein tension is taken up and the horse is on the bit. In addition with the WH Ultra, there is a neat roller built into the centre of the lozenge. This gently stimulates the sensitive centre of the tongue, to engage the horse's attention. It encourages the horse to relax, soften and concentrate on the aids from the rider.
Highly recommended for horses that have become deadened or unresponsive to the rider's rein aids.
