The Equi-N-Ice bandage is a re-useable therapeutic Cooling Bandage for horses.
We use these ourselves - they really work and are super-convenient, as they don't need refrigerating and can be pre-soaked. Simply pop the bandage into its bag, add some coolant, reseal the bag and leave it in your horsebox or first aid kit, ready to be used when you need it!
Equi-N-Ice will speed the recovery of tendon and ligament injury and soreness.
Once taken out of the sealed packet the bandage is wrapped on the area required and will stay cold for up to 2 hours.
Once the bandage is no longer cold enough the coolant/recharger is used by adding around 80ml of the Equi-N-Ice coolant to the bandage, soak the bandage for 30 seconds and then squeeze off any excess fluid, the bandage will then be fully charged for another use. Simple, clean and effective.
