Chalk block

Hatchwell's Chalk Blocks are the traditional way to brighten and highlight white horse hair for the show ring. Perfect for whitening the horse's socks by simply rubbing the white hair with the chalk block and brushing off the excess.

Top tips:

• always apply chalk to legs before applying hoof oil to the hooves, so that any chalk dust dropping onto the hooves will disappear.
• wear surgical gloves when applying chalk, so that chalky fingerprints don't end up on your clothes!
