Baillie Haylage Meadow Grass is a medium to low energy haylage, low in sugar, protein and energy (calories). Whilst it may have some traces of naturally-occurring ryegrass, it does not contain the Italian Ryegrass that some horses find problematic.
Cut late in the season, the Meadow Grass is Baillie Haylage's softest, leafiest variety making it perfect for older horses with poor teeth.
It is suitable for :
- Older horses
- fussy feeders
- some laminitics
- convalescents
- those in light work or at rest
Bale Size:
Circa 20kg. Approx. 58cm x 38cm x 23cm - feeds one horse for approximately 2 days.
