The Equi-N-Ice Ice Sock is a re-useable therapeutic Cooling Sock for horses. A bit like a tubi-grip for horses, it covers the leg in one piece.
The Ice Socks are super-convenient, as they don't need refrigerating and can be pre-soaked. Simply pop the sock into its bag, add some coolant, reseal the bag and leave it in your horsebox or first aid kit, ready to be used when you need it!
Equi-N-Ice will speed the recovery of tendon and ligament injury and soreness.
Once taken out of the sealed packet the sock is applied to the area required, by stretching over the hoof and rolling up the leg. It will stay cold for up to 2 hours. Additional coolant can be sprayed onto the sock while it is on the leg, if needed.
Once you have taken the sock off the horse, you can leave it ready for re-use by placing it back in its bag, adding around 25ml of the Equi-N-Ice coolant to the sock in its bag and resealing the bag. The sock will then be fully charged for another use. Simple, clean and effective.
