RID'UP PLUS Safety Stirrups are a true innovation in riding safety and comfort. They work in a completely different way from other safety stirrups, in that they fully detach from the stirrup leather in the event of a fall. That way there is no risk of catching boots or gaiters on the stirrup mid-fall.
The stirrups are engineered so that they are fully secure, but in the event of a fall, the safety mechanism kicks in to automatically detach the stirrup from its stirrup leather connector.
In addition, the shock absorbing tread on the PLUS stirrups is designed with the horse and riders' comfort in mind, helping to minimise shock through the rider's joints and the horse's back.
