MIPS adds yet another layer of safety to protect the brain from impact, by adding a moveable second shell inside the helmet, between the outer shell and the inner padding. This shell's movement means that rather than the impact of a fall at an angle moving the brain and causing brain injury, the rotational impact is instead taken by the helmet's MIPS shell's movement.
The helmet can be adjusted to obtain the optimum setting for height and width.
What’s more, the ergonomic helmet design with its low-cut helmet shell guarantees extra impact protection at the rear. One really smart feature is the ponytail cut-out, which makes the helmet considerably more comfortable for riders with long hair.
The 3D dial-fit system means that every time you put your helmet on, you are quickly adjusting it for the perfect fit with millimetre precision each time. So, whether you wear your hair long or short, up or down, the helmet will still fit perfectly.
